Ami says that in the universe, countless planets are inhabited by aliens, and within our galaxy alone, there are millions of civilizations.\n\nAmi also says that aliens don't look very different from Earthlings; they just might have a different number of legs or arms.\n\nOn Ami's planet, everyone looks like a child, though they might actually be hundreds of years old.\n\nPedro asks Ami: "Are you a bad person?"\n\nAmi laughs and says: "There are no bad people in the universe. At least, I'm certainly better than you, because you Earthlings are quite bad. Why are there no bad people in the universe? Because any evil civilization cannot develop; they cannot leave their own planet and destroy themselves internally. Why can't these planets develop? Because the technological level required to make cannons and bullets is far lower than that needed to build spaceships. So, in the process of a civilization's development, destructive weapons appear first, and only later do spaceships capable of light-speed travel. Since weapons appear first, evil civilizations inevitably engage in internal strife. No evil civilization can grow. In the universe, any advanced civilization capable of reaching Earth is certainly not evil. So, no other evil civilization will attack Earth; rest assured. Evil planets cannot unite; they don't trust others. On Ami's planet, they have telepathy, so evil people cannot thrive."\n\nPedro asks Ami: "With so many planets in the universe, couldn't one or two evil civilizations arise by chance for some reason?"\n\nAmi replies: "Chance does not exist in the universe. Everything in the universe is interconnected. Everything that happens is inevitable; there is no such thing as chance. The reason you think some things happen by chance is because you don't understand their internal connections. You think it's luck, a coincidence, but it's not. It's the result of an inevitable process."\n\nPedro asks Ami: "Why do evil civilizations exist in the universe?"\n\nAmi replies: "Actually, when any civilization is first born, it is not evil. But in the process of a civilization's development, two things are very important: one is technology, and the other is love.
